Just... Why? Is it to give pedestrians a fighting chance? ;)

Those clouds are really pretty

I like the stonework and design of the buildings in this photo.

That’s a nice stop sign.

I’ve never seen that “let’s pretend it’s a real bumper” before. At first glance, I didn’t like it. But now I think I see what they’re going for. The “bumper”, the lamp trim, the lettering... all that chrome is definitely an attempt at an old-school look. They didn’t go off the deep end by adding chrome vents or chrome door trim.
I’ll have to admit: I don’t hate it. This car is supposed to be retro anyway, so bonus points for not doing it to a SN95. I wonder what the front looks like.

It works a lot better on Challengers. In fact I’d say it looks better than stock.

The fitment left much to be desired.

Eh, I never love chrome

I like it. A lot.
No, I will not give back my Mustang Club card. I am not ashamed.

Are you commenting on the rear fitment, or describing the front fitment?

JUST BUY A FUCKING FIRST GEN.

Took me a second, to get it. They’re trying to recreate something like this.
I despise chrome on post 1980 cars but, if they lowered it an inch it might look a lot better.

Rear was especially bad

You should be though

I think I see what you mean; there’s a shadow under the lower corner of the rear “bumper” like it’s peeling away from the body.
I don’t know what’s worse: poor fitment of raised chrome, or the lack of depth in the streamlined use of chrome on modern cars.

I like it! Some chrome mirror housings might help with the effect.
